I didn't get it until this trip, but text messaging on portable phone-scale devices is starting to make sense to me. I'm still kinda annoyed that my $60/mo phone plan also charges me $0.10 per message, but I'll probably stay below the 50 message/month mark that would match the $5/mo add-on package for a zillion messages. Also, hopefully whatever plan comes with the iPhone will do something reasonable about this.

How much do you use your phone? I have a prepaid plan, $0.18 per minute and 5 cents per text message; minimum $20 every 3 months which accumulates if I don't use it.
