A Solution To Abortion

Cryogenic preservation.
Take out the foetus whole and freeze it until we can build an artificial womb for it. No unwanted babies. Nothing can be said to have died. And as a bonus we have backup genetic diversity on ice in the event of some catastrophe which needs that.

Makes for a tougher procedure with ongoing storage costs afterward though.

Ever read the short story "Foet"? In that, high fashion starts making leather out of fetal skin... pretty great premise for a creepy story.
