JavaScript is easy

Last night I hacked up a little demo of two-axis rating, for discussion systems like kuro5hin or dailykos that let people rate every comment. I think the two axis thing could help improve the quality of discussion by getting more than one side out and getting good quality posts. Also I think the just-click widget might be more efficient than the click-drag pop-up-menu these sites currently have. The only drawback is that my way requires a few hundred more bytes per comment, and that could slow down page loads. Hmm.
