I had the honor of taking two beautiful blonde women out to dinner this 
evening.

I went to Solvang for the first time this afternoon and hand lunch there. 
Nice little Smorgaasbord place, and then the Bakery tour. Amy was on a 
mission to find Marzipan to take back as gifts for people. We wound up 
getting lots of pastry stuff beyond that too. It was a sugary weekend with 
those sweet pastries on top of fudges and taffy before that.

I went to Hearst Castle this morning. The way they deify W.R. Hearst there 
is a bit disconcerting. From all I'd heard I expected it to be bigger, but 
what I saw was all quite nice, and I guess I didn't see much on the tour 
we took.

Ahhhhhh, vacation. This weekend was a great getaway, and after one day of 
work (tomorrow) I fly to NM for thanksgiving. Just what I needed.
