The numbers do not lie, do they?

The axes are a little screwed up, but along the bottom is about two and a half years of time, and the vertical axis is pounds-of-me.

I think I graduated high school at the height I am now and around 155 lb in long distance running shape, 4 years later 165 and karate buffed out. 4 years later 185 at the start of that graph.

I think my BMI pointed to around 165, but I must have been looking at a different system than you because you're only a few inches taller. I think I have reasonable expectations about what the right shape to be in is, I just don't have the lifestyle habits to bring them about. I need to either eat 500-1000 calories less per day, or exert a similar amount more, or some combination thereof. I think I posted the graph partially to prove to people who say I look ok that there really is something going on, and partially to hope that public humiliation will be a motivating factor.

Indeed, give my regards to Liz and Paul (even though I don't think I ever actually met him). Good on them. Still looking for The One myself.
